Legal Aid of NC will be at the Center on Mon.,March 1 & 22 to provide free legal services to older adults. Appt is required,call toll free 1-877-579-7562 M-F 9-11 a.m. & 1-3 p.m. To qualify for no fee, tell the person answering the phone that you are a senior from Region F. Lawyer, Shazia Anwar, will schedule an appointment to meet with you at the Center. She handles wills, Advanced directives, landlord/tenant issues,public benefits,consumer issues such as bankruptcy & unemployment benefits.
