Instrumental fantasias, in nomines, and canzonas by William Byrd, Orlando Gibbons, Giovanni Gabrielli, and Samuel Scheidt. Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis by Gibbons and Gregorio Allegri’s famous “Miserere,” once the private treasure of the Sistine Chapel Choir.
North Jersey’s own Cisraritanian Consort of Viols was founded in 2010 by the Garden State’s leading violist da gamba, Roland Hutchinson.
