Orchestra Hall is soon to undergo a transformation, and to celebrate before temporarily closing the doors for renovations, we're throwing a festive traditional New Orleans funeral, replete with singing, dancing and a second-line march. Leading this final Pops concert of the season-and the subsequent procession out the doors will be two dear guests: Preservation Hall Jazz Band and New Orleans Jazz Orchestra with our own Artistic Director of Jazz, Irvin Mayfield.
