Crèches Around the World in 43 Days

This exhibit examines the global and cultural history of a time-honored tradition: the display of the Christmas crèche. It will present nearly 100 Nativity sets from across the globe, ranging from the traditional to the contemporary, of varying sizes--some as small as one inch! A highlight of the show will be Nativity sets from local collectors. Also, Madonna and Child artwork by School Sisters of St. Francis will present artistic views of the Holy Family within the Christmas narrative.
