The universal story of a vibrant community in New York’s Washington Heights neighborhood – a place where the coffee from the corner bodega is light and sweet, the windows are always open and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. It’s a community on the brink of change, full of hopes, dreams and pressures, where the biggest struggles can be deciding which traditions you take with you, and which ones you leave behind. The Wisconsin Center District… Show more (WCD) has announced the 2011-‘12 lineup of Broadway shows at the Milwaukee Theatre, including Shrek The Musical, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s South Pacific, In The Heights, Rain – A Tribute to The Beatles, The All-New Original Tribute to The Blues Brothers ™ and Disney Live! Presents Three Classic Fairy Tales. The 2011-’12 Broadway season runs from Oct. 28, 2011 through May 5, 2012.
