First Friday: Born to Be Good
Can science aid us in the pursuit of happiness? UC Berkeley professor Dacher Keltner makes an evolutionary case for the emergence of compassion, tracing the argument to Darwin. He will detail studies about kindness and illustrate how it is the pathway to happiness.
This after-hours event is free and open to adults and high school students. A wine reception will take place at 6:30 pm for pre-registered guests.
Registration is recommended. To register, visit http://www.millvalleylibrary.org.
