The Pleasure Is Mine

This is the club for the Harbor Point Tennis and Beach Club, but it's open to the public. The food is wonderful, the decor very pleasant and comfortable, and it has lovely views of Richardson Bay. But the best part of all is that it's quiet. Music only plays when the tango lessons start on Thursday evening or when there's something else special going on, and it's a room that doesn't reverberate. So this is a place where you can actually have a conversation and relax. Unfortunately, it's only open Thursday and Friday nights for dinner, but it's open Wednesday through Sunday for lunch. It really is worth a trip. The sauces and main courses and really memorable, and the vegetables wonderfully cooked. The mashed potatoes are to die for, as are the appetizers. There's a full bar and wine list. Prices are average and very reasonable for the level of cuisine.
