Exhibit to Feature the Historical Paintings of Late Area Artist
The Middletown Arts Center will exhibit paintings by the late Herbert Fall, a Butler County artist known for his vivid depictions of local historical scenes.
Born in 1891, he attended Warren County's Red Buck School and later acquired degrees from the Chicago Art Institute and Cincinnati's Art Academy after which he careered as a medical art illustrator.
Throughout his life, he painted now-historical scenes, many of which show the Middletown area before the advent of photography.
