The New Transnationalisms of Music Symposium
Beverly Diamond, Anne Rasmussen, Aram Sinnreich, Marc Perlman ’94 Ph.D., and Joshua Tucker will engage with Wesleyan faculty and ethnomusicology graduate students on the ways that today's international systems, circuits, and grassroots activists are changing music globally. This symposium is part of "Music & Public Life", a year-long campus and community-wide exploration, celebrating and studying the sounds, words, and spirit of music at the local, national, and transnational levels.
