Green Street Arts Center

Since opening in 2005, the Green Street Arts Center has been offering a broad spectrum of arts classes, workshops and programming for adults, teens, children and families. The core of Green Street’s programming is the After School Program, which provides an afternoon haven where Middletown area children and young adults can explore their creativity and develop practical skills for everyday life. Green Street also offers a wide variety of dance, music, drama, visual and media arts and early childhood development courses within its ten and six week sessions and workshops. Through weekend events such as Green Speak: Open Mic, Green House Music Series, In the Limelight, the World Arts Family Series and the Sunday Salon Series, audiences can sample a wide array of performances, lectures and workshops from professional artists, Wesleyan faculty and visiting and local artists.
