Tapestry: Medieval Music at Cambridge Night Song
The acclaimed women's vocal ensemble Tapestry sings music from their new program "Magnificat: The Dawning of the Night," combining Medieval music with works by Arvo Part and Patricia Van Ness. Van Ness' "Arcanae" was praised by the Louisville Courier Journal as a work "with soaring dynamics and unusually closely wrought harmonies, ... immediately beguiling."
Jazz pianist Ben Schwendener plays contemplative improvisations for Night Song's weekly program of jazz, choral music and meditation.
