The Micanopy Historical Society presents a talk by Jimi Brown on "Connections: How the town of Micanopy and the Evergreen Cemetery in Gainesville relate to the History of our Nation and the World." Brown,a FL native,holds MS and PhD degrees from UF in Anthropology and a JD from UF Law School. He serves on the Evergreen Cemetery Board of Directors and is a Guest Curator for the current Evergreen Cemetery Exhibit at the Thomas Center.
