With a flare of sophistication, Tea for Two, an authentic Italian Kosher restaurant, has been serving creative and unique cuisine to its loyal customers for eight successful years. Owner Allison Kahn is one of those owners that don't treat her customers like clients but rather like true "guests" at her home. Allison has this wonderful and friendly relationship with her guests, welcoming them at the door and, often times, chatting with them at their tables, like old friends. With Italian cafe paintings on the auburn-colored walls and soft background music, the restaurant is cozy and intimate. There are many surprise dishes and Allison and her attentive staff are eager to please, accommodating any diet or special request. Just because their dining room looks fancy doesn't mean children aren't encouraged to come, Allison insists "we are kid-friendly." The fact that Tea for Two has a branch in South Miami and another restaurant on No strand Avenue, Tea For Two Light (similar menu but open for breakfast), is a testament to how well run and how well received they are. Their reputation is world renowned with people coming from Boston to Los Angeles as well as from England to South Africa. The reason for that is their house specialties happen to be sensational. Their one-of-a-kind tuna roast, exceptionally seasoned with fried teriyaki sauce and Penne alla Vodka with a melt-in-your-mouth cream sauce are two of their many signature dishes. Boasting its own sushi bar, the artistically-presented Spider Roll is one of their Chef's special and a sure-fire hit. If truth be told, they were actually one of the first Brooklyn restaurants to introduce and serve the Asian delicacy before it was all the crave. With a fresh rose and lit candle on each table every night, Tea for Two is the perfect getaway for a romantic evening, a night out with a group of friends or special bonding time with your entire family.
