The Four Winds and The Great Wall, Discussion with Naomi Terk
Naomi Terk's grandparents were among the thousands of Jews who escaped the pogroms in Russia in 1898 and made their way to Harbin, China. Born in Tianjin, Naomi spent much of her childhood in the U.S., but in adulthood, she was able to travel back & forth to the Far East, In celebration of Chinese New Year, Terk shares her experiences and compares Chinese and Jewish traditions.
