Dickinson Gateway 12 IMAX Theatre

My son and I went to this theater to see UP and tried to use my e-moviecash free tickets that I got from buying video games at game stop. However the lady at the ticket counter couldn't get them to work. Since the line behind us was getting long and the people were getting impatient I just paid for them. After the movie was over I approached the MGR of the theater and asked him why my free tickets wouldn't work and his answer was: the numbers are invalid and they have been used already. Wow, you talk about an insult to me and my 6 yr old son. Accusing me of trying to steal theater seats. I make good money and have no intention of trying to get into a movie for free! The tickets themselves have theater handling instructions on them if theres a problem with them and a 1-800 number. The MGR took no initiative to call e-moviecash to help resolve my problem and instead of offering me 2 free tickets and handling it with the company he just walked away like he didn't care. What happened to customer service? There were only about 8 people in the theater when we went. Maybe poor customer service might have a little to do with that? I don't feel sorry when a company like this goes out of business. Give people an enjoyable experience and they will come back.

This is a nice family oriented theater.
