Applewood Inn Gourmet Pizza

The cloud ceiling blew in relatively recently, but little else has changed at Applewood Inn in 17 years. Bela and Inge Kerdos' downtown Menlo Park pizza place is warm and cozy with ruffled caf curtains, wood paneling, and a good selection of imported and domestic beer on tap. Signature pizza crust is thick and slightly sweet, salads also good.
