The weekend before Thanksgiving the Center for Southern Folklore welcomes one of its best friends and favorite performers, Kate Campbell, for three very special events.

On Saturday, November 22, at 8:00 p.m. Kate appears in concert in the Folklore Hall with a CD release party for her long anticipated new album “Save The Day” as well as performing many of her beloved favorites. The next day Kate will conduct a singer/songwriter workshop from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. which includes KateFest, at 4:00 p.m., a relaxed, informal concert. Even if you’re not attending the workshop, separate tickets for KateFest only will also be available to the general public. All three events will be at the Center’s Folklore Hall, 119 S. Main @ the Peabody Place Trolley Stop in the heart of downtown Memphis.
