When combined with the breadth of personalities, experiences and conflict scenarios we must learn to deal with, the result is a highly complex, shifting and potentially conflict-laden work environment.

The program is highly interactive and includes individual and group exercises and extensive opportunity for the practice and reinforcement of skills and concepts introduced.
Understanding conflict
Recognise the drivers of conflict, and the profile of conflicts typically faced
Recognise that conflict is unavoidable and something to be assertively and constructively faced and resolved rather than avoided and allowed to grow
Understanding conflict avoidance and why it occurs.
Conflict styles
Review of different conflict handling styles
Consideration of the strengths and shortcomings of different reactions to conflict.
Perceptions in conflict
Review of perceptual filters that can drive conflict by narrowing our view point and decreasing our ability to negotiate and reason
The role of prior experience in driving poor behaviour or reducing our ability to understand, influence and negotiate .
The skills of successful conflict resolution
Detailed review and practice of 12 components of successful conflict resolution
Review of strategies used to resolve conflict and their suitability to various situations
Clearly defining and mapping out conflicts to develop viable alternatives.

Managing emotional reactions to conflicts to control destructive and self-interest responses, and replace these with positive and inclusive solutions.

What you get
Training Manual - all participants receive a comprehensive training manual that provides in-depth information about the material covered in the program. The manual includes an ‘Action Plan’ to assist achieve immediate tangible outcomes from participation and a series of group and individual activities and exercises to assist improved development outcomes from participation.
Follow up phone call - to assist the achievement of tangible improvements from program participation, all attendees receive a follow up phone call one month after the session. This is to review progress achieved in the implementation of the 'Action Plan' and to answer questions and reinforce techniques learnt.
Expert Facilitator - Mark Bramwell is a highly experienced and skilled facilitator with a passion for assisting participants develop outstanding communication skills that will lead to improved personal and career outcomes.
Food and Refreshments - All food is provided as part of your program participation. Morning tea from 10:30 - 10:45am, lunch from 12:30 - 1:15pm and tea, coffee, filtered water, mints and biscuits through out the day.

Cancellations
All cancellations will incur an administration fee of $12.50. If notification is received more than 14 days prior to the course a full refund less administration fee will be provided. Cancellations between 7 and 14 days prior to the course will result in a 50% refund less administration fee. If notification of cancellation is received less than 7 days prior to the course, fees will not be refunded. If a course is cancelled by us, a full refund will be provided.
