There is always something happening at the Heard. Whether it be a new traveling or permanent exhibit, summer camps and other education programs including scout merit badge classes, new items in the nature store, spotting animals and bird species along a trail or a party rental, things are always changing including the seasons which consistently offer different views of the landscape and animals throughout the wildlife sanctuary. We take our kids here as often as we can (helps that we are members). There is always something new to see. We're looking forward to the dinosaur exhibit that should be there in a few weeks. We took the kids last year and they LOVED it. There was even a dinosaur that spit water...the same kind of dinosaur they had in Jurassic Park, you may remember. Anyway, check out their website to see what's going on.
