Usssa WS Qualifier McHenry Cobras Wood Bat Classic

Back for it's 4th year! The McHenry Cobras will host their "4th Annual Wood Bat Classic to benefit the Sage Cancer Center." Come play baseball the way it was intended and for a cause...with a Wood Bat. Players love going old school where pitching and defense wins games. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Sage Cancer Center. The McHenry Cobras and other teams in the past have sported pink jerseys in support. McHenry's baseball fields have been voted among the top baseball diamonds in Northern Illinois. Our fields feature; -Full grass infields -Lights on every field -"Real" pitcher mounds (no portable or softball) -Hot & Cold concessions -T-Shirt Sales The "Wood Bat Classic" is sanctioned as a USSSA World Series qualifier. Each team that wins their age group will receive a Qualifying Bid to the World Series in July. 3 game minimum (weather permitting). *Rainout policy; 0 games= 100% refund, 1 game=50%, 2 games=no refund. Tournament is limited to 8 teams per age group. Individual trophies will be awarded for 1st & 2nd Place. Wood bats (2) will be provided in the registration fee for each team.
