This course is designed to train and introduce the student to the moral and legal aspects on the use of  firearms, as well as shooting, handling, gun safety, and gun care. This course meets all the training requirements of the various Police and Sheriff’s Departments.
This course will not issue a CCW Permit;Â

The weapon(s) you intend to place on your permit will be shot for qualifications during this course. You may list up to three handguns per permit and must qualify with each during the course.
Qualifications:
The qualification course consist of 36 rounds. Some counties have a specific course of fire. However, our rangemasters require you to bring at least 150 rounds to train/practice and then qualify.
 Fees:
Initial = 16-Hour Course:Â $130.00, minimum of 150 rounds.
Renewal = 4hr/Annual legal update Course:Â $50.00 .

any additional firearm qualifications are $10.00 each.
Equipment needed :
 Handgun
Eye and ear protection (can be provided on site)
Sensible footwear (you will be walking on uneven ground, closed toe only)
Hat w/ brim (baseball style) recommended
AT Least 150 rounds (3 boxes) of ammunition
Important Information
You will need to bring the gun(s) that will be documented on your CCW Permit. All of these firearms Will be shot by you.
New CCW Permits - 16-hour training course that including instruction on firearm safety and the law regarding the permissible use of a firearm. You must qualify on each gun you want listed on your CCW Permit.
CCW Permit Renewals (every 2 years ) - Prior to renewal, complete at least a 4-hour legal firearms update refresher course. Qualify on each gun you want listed on your CCW Permit.
You must annually qualify with the exact weapon(s) listed on your permit. If you want to add or remove weapons from your permit, a qualification is required on that paarticular weapons.

You are welcome to pay when you arrive at class.
Are there Id requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
You must have a valid drivers license in order to participate, if you are under the age of 18.

What can/can't I bring to the event?
We are in the classroom all day on Saturday. You are welcome to bring any food or drink.
