The 1904 Olympics in St. Louis
While St. Louis was hosting the world with the 1904 World’s Fair, she also hosted the Third Olympiad, the first to be held in the United States. There are many stories of intrigue, firsts, and not-so-glamorous events to be shared through photographs from the Missouri History Museum’s collections. Sharon Smith is a Curator of Civic Identity with the Missouri History Museum and will present an evening of stories and information.
