Support workers are the primary caregivers in a variety of settings. As their role continues to evolve an increased knowledge is required to "safely administer" medications.
This workshop will prepare Support Workers to safely and effectively assist with medications while learning the basics of why medication is prescribed, side effects, PRN safety and the most common medication errors that put both the client and the staff at risk.
