Maverick 4 Theatres

Maverick4 will get no more of my entertainment budget. The owner has shown me what he thinks of his cusomters. I had a discussion on Facebook with him, when he posted looking for feedback on programming. I stated that I preferred the programming from before, when they ran movies right after they were done in the "first run" theaters, rather than having first run movies there (something he had stated in the newspaper that he intended to do - that's why ticket prices went up, he said), or showing really old movies, as he was proposing in his question. Apparently that wasn't the feedback he was looking for, because he proceeded to tell me how wrong I was, that I was the only customer who had "complained," so he said "that tells me a lot." There was more, but I won't get into that here. Being in the customer service industry, I tried to explain to him that arguing and attacking a customer for their opinion is not a good customer retention tool. I tried to explain that simply stating that he was sorry I was unhappy, but here are the reasons why I am looking at these changes, and trying new things would have gone a long way toward keeping me as a customer. However, he didn't appear to like this either, because he then deleted everything I had said from that Facebook conversation, along with anything anybody else had said agreeing with me. When my wife stated that it was too bad he had taken this approach, because we had enjoyed going there with our children, he posted to her that it was too bad our kids would not be able to go there, just because we couldn't be more adult about it. He then proceeded to delete her post as well. My question is, what's more adult than speaking with my dollars? I intend to do so from this point forward.
