Impressively Clever Lyrics!

The beat to Kanye West's music is always pretty catchy and easy to get into, but if you listen carefully to his lyrics - you'll find that they are ingenious! He refers to the most random, yet clever topics/themes -- a lot of them with interesting sociological references. He's definitely an artist that's honing his craft.

It gets better with age

It was always difficult not to hum along back in the day, but I appreciate the unpretentious skill much more now that I am so much cooler than the cool kids ever were.

Best of a lifetime!

Eric Clapton. That says it all. "Wonderful Tonight", "After Midnight", "Lay Down Sally"- oldies but goodies. However, those oldies are not seen as such to even the youth of today. It's almost as if the younger generation doesn't realize how old those songs really are. Eric Clapton's musical talents are by far among the best of all musicians in the history of music.
