The International Culinary Center is the home of the renowned French Culinary Institute, The Italian Culinary Academy, and now, THE place for single-session courses in our new Recreational Division. The International Culinary Center offers a wide variety of programs designed for all types of budding and established cooks — from the home chef seeking to dazzle friends and family to the elite professional who wants to shine even brighter on the culinary scene. These exhilarating offerings include: Culinary, Pastry and Bread Courses, Italian Studies, Wine Studies, Food Writing, Food Technology, Restaurant Management and many more. Plus, we are always adding to our curriculum, tapping our faculty of living legends to design the most innovative classes in the industry.
Located in the heart of New York’s hottest culinary arts scene, The International Culinary Center boasts newly renovated facilities, a comprehensive library, comfortable student lounges, modern classrooms, and, of course, the highly Zagat®- and Michelin®-rated student-staffed restaurant of The French Culinary Institute - L’Ecole.
The International Culinary Center is more than just a world-class facility and culinary academy. It is also a gathering place for culinary arts visionaries from around the globe. Our International Culinary Theater hosts chef demonstrations by visiting masters and celebrity chefs who teach the latest trends and techniques, the Public Television series Chef’s Story and many wonderful culinary events. And then there’s PastryScoop.com, our “go-to” site for pastry lovers and students at our baking school. All this combines for a culinary educational experience you can’t find at any other culinary arts academy in the world.
