The Mahwah Museum has opened an exciting new exhibit to honor the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War. The exhibit has documentation about the service of Civil War soldiers who are buried in Mahwah as well as interesting artifacts such as uniforms, weapons and Confederate money. The "Peace Democrates" of Bergen County are featured as well as a display about women and children in the War Between the States. At the Mahwah Museum, 201 Franklin Turnpike, Mahwah, now though June 30, 2012.
