Summer Musical: Grease

Grease by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey is the Tony Award winning musical based on the sub-cultures found in many high schools of the 1950’s. The show takes place at the hyperactive Rydell High School, where Danny Zuko fronts his gang-The T-Birds- who romance their sassy female equivalents-The Pink Ladies. When “good-girl” Sandy Dumbronski arrives in town, the Pink Ladies take her under their collective wing. Other memorable roles include a visit from the Teen Angel, radio disc jockey Vince Fontaine, English teacher, Ms. Lynch, as well as “cameos” from great musical groups from “the ‘50’s”.
