Set in a seedy cabaret in 1920s post-war France, the show starts with its usual fanfare, but things go awry quickly when a dead body is found on the premises.

As suspects are interviewed and the truth unfolds, it seems almost everyone in the theater had the motive, opportunity and ability to commit the crime.
