The Back Door Bar & Grille is located at 1250 Bardstown Road, adjacent to the Mid City Mall in the heart of the picturesque Highlands neighborhood in Louisville, KY. The Back Door is owned and operated by John Dant. The 5,000-square-foot bar and lounge previously served as a warehousing and storage facility for the nearby A&P Grocery. Our bar staff includes Bar Manager Carrie, Dave, Marianne, Cindy, Chris, . The kitchen staff includes Chef Sheila, Jenifer, Steve, Ben and Sam. We take great pride in the fact that Carrie, Dave, Cindy and Marianne have been with The Back Door for over 20 years. The owners and employees take great pride in the Back Door's reputation of being one of the friendliest bars in Louisville.
