The Abolitionists Film Discussion

Wednesday, Oct 9, 2013 7:00p to 9:00p

This PBS documentary vividly brings to life the struggles of the men and women who led the battle to end slavery. Through innovative use of reenactments, this three-episode series puts a face on the anti-slavery movement.

Selected scenes from the film will be shown followed by discussion led by Siena College History Professor Dr. Bruce Eelman, and Paul and Mary Liz Stewart, co-founders of the Underground Railroad History Project of the Capital Region.
