2nd Street Jazz

LAND ON 2ND STREET was founded six years ago by one time trumpet player and entrepreneur Kohei Matsumoto, who had a vision of creating a friendly, inviting place where one could to go listen to great music. Mr. Matsumoto has since passed on from this world, but his spirit still lives on in this intimate nightspot, thanks to his son (and current owner) Koichi. Located in the up-and-coming downtown LA district of Little Tokyo, LAND On 2nd Street is one of the only places in Los Angeles where you can hear original and creative jazz and new music by some of the many fine musicians that live here. The club features a full bar and late night food and is a favorite hangout for musicians and insomniacs.
