Today, the King King books everything from indie rock to cuban timba/salsa; from electro to house, and hosts a wide range of events, including: multi-media theatre, French- cabaret, record-release parties, film screenings, wine tasting parties etc...
A haven for creativity, the King King draws a celebrity crowd without being a trendy Hollywood spot thats hot one minute and not the next. King King regulars have included Iggy Pop, Billy Idol, Eric Clapton, the Gypsy Kings, Tom Waits, Keanu Reeves, Crispin Glover, Mick Jagger, Bruce Willis, Marc Ford, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, to name a few.
DJ Dan began spinning in L.A.'s early '90s rave scene and then became the main DJ for San Francisco's aptly-named Funky Techno Tribe. Along with headlining raves in the US and worldwide, DJ Dan has remixed popular dance artists such as Cirrus and released albums and singles on labels such as Ultimatum, Kinetic and Moonshine, including 1998's Beats 4 Freaks, 1999's Funk The System and 2000's Put That Record Back On....
Paul Johnson was one of the founding fathers of surf guitar, writing the 1961 classic "Mr. Moto" for his band the Bel Airs. He floated around the genre for years after their breakup, eventually helping the revival of the genre with his work with the Packards in the '80s....
