Lecture and Demonstration by Max Ginsburg

Sunday, Jun 23, 2013 12:00p to 3:00p
USC Fisher Museum of Art Los Angeles, CA

Max Ginsburg will demonstrate techniques he employs as he paints from life in the alla prima style. He will also discuss the thinking that informs his work, as well as the historical and contemporary basis for his unique brand of social realism. The New York-based Ginsburg is renowned for realism in both form and content, using his art to explore the range of daily human life, from life's ironies and social injustices to its many joys.
