Andreea is an African-American Austrailian whose one-woman show received glowing reviews at the 2012 Sydney Fringe Festival. The stories invoke her family’s journey from a Mississippi slave plantation to integrated US universities, from run-ins with the KKK and the civil rights movement, to a successful career in Hollywood, and include love stories, sobering tales and very funny personal bits including her “Hair Wars” with her hairdresser-mother and her work on the original Star Trek TV series.
