Empowering Women Festival

Hello folks! Thank you for checking out this event! This festival/show is a fundraiser dedicated to a Los Angeles-based women's shelter called Angel Step Inn. They are an inspiring group of people who work to create a new and healthy starting point for the women in their community. They provide service and aid to women with children, women who are recovering from substance abuse, and women who are struggling with HIV/AIDS. Given what amazing things this organization has done and will continue to do, supporting them in the efforts is what I intend to do. In fact, through this fundraiser, my goal is to raise $10,000 for these wonderful people (with your help, of course). This money will provide this shelter with the tools they need to make a huge difference for the women in our communities.Â

I will also have some amazing artists and crafts-people donating their wonderful artwork. I'm sure there will also be some bellydancing performances as well as other types of dance. There's a good chance I may also get some glass-blowers and someone who can breathe fire (more to come).Â
At any rate, it's going to be an amazing, fun-filled event, and I'm very excited. What I want from you now, is to let me know how you can help. Do you know someone who's in a band who would love to donate their time to participate in such a fun event? Do you know artists who would create some wonderful pieces to put into a silent auction?
