Dr. Marvin Sweeney, a Professor of Hebrew Bible at Claremont Lincoln University and CEO of the Ancient Biblical Manuscript Center, will lecture on the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls. He will discuss their contents, and their importance biblically and historically. Dr. Sweeney is a well-known scholar who works in the areas of prophetic literature, biblical theology, ancient exegesis of biblical texts, and religion and politics in both the ancient and modern worlds.
