Trevese is a showcase for Modern American cuisine in the heart of Los Gatos. Drawing inspiration from Europe, Asia and California, executive chef and owner Michael Miller leads a talented staff in creating authentic, refined and artistic cuisine, filling his palette with the bright colors and flavors of seasonal, sustainable and largely organic product. Thoughtful service, a refined and warm ambiance, compelling wines and a creative menu are helping to draw rave reviews and loyal guests from throughout the Bay Area.
The dining room offers seating for large and small parties, the Lounge features a complete bar menu, and the outdoor terrace is the perfect place to enjoy Sunday brunch. Chef's Tasting Menus are offered nightly, including a completely vegetarian version, as well as a la carte dining.
The location of Trevese is a story of its own. Originally owned by Mary Coggeshall, the mansion was constructed in 1891 by J.J. Hill and is one of few Queen Anne-style Victorians still standing in the Bay Area. In 1977 the Chart House refurbished the mansion to a restaurant and closed its doors thirty years later. The new interior has embraced the original integrity with added modern concepts. The pristine and bright design on the outside contrasts perfectly with a modern interior warmed by soft lighting and the colors of chocolate, cream and sage. The design is much like the menu; classic themes reinterpreted with modern American craftsmanship.

The half point deduction is only for the cost. Trevese is outstanding in every way! The bar is trendy yet comfortable with excellent service and top shelf liquor. The restaurant is a appealing 5 star atmosphere with impeccable wait staff and delectable food. Expect to be served a chef's appetizer gratis. Located in a remodeled home, the location is deceiving but no less remarkable as the turn of the century house has been tastefully and lovingly restored to match the quality of the food and service inside.
