It's the latest trend in LA nightlife. When a bar or lounge is beginning to wane in popularity, like Sideways Lounge or nearby Area Nightclub, the owners intervene with a complete makeover and regurgitation of a new nightspot. Hence, welcome to Green Door located adjacent to Hollywood's Cabana Club in the space formerly occupied by Sunset Room/Sterling/Sideways Lounge. 
It and its predecessors are owned by Chris BreedThe new theme of the bar is parlor plush, equipped with antique settees and Venetian plastering to give it a old-world Hollywood theme. The crowd is quite good since opening, with Orlando Bloom and Drew Barrymore seeming to forget the space ever existed through its new entrance along an adjacent side street.
Make sure to arrive with a good ratio of girls/guys or make bottle service reservations for an excellent experience.
