Midnight Forever Proudly presents "Sounds Fresh" every Thursday @ Blue Velvet:
After our bi-monthly summer "Refuge" party we have prepared a weekly night of Hip-Hop, Electro, Pop, Indie Rock, House, Bmore, and break beats to heat up the winter solstice. Our resident DJs are fresh off their tours and are ready to rock this new down town weekly with monthly special guests and our monthly art show. There will be plenty of art, 3d visuals following the downtown art walk each month. We invite you to be part of our downtown family!
Blue Velvet occupies a pool-adjacent deck at The Flat, a new downtown residential development. The two dining areas and adjacent lounges (The Flat Lounge and Red Room) are characterized by sleek contemporary lines, polished wood and textile accents, and pool and skyline views of downtown La. The fireplace, DJ station and wine cellar are ensconced in glass, while abstract wall sculptures create a hip yet inviting ambiance.
