Jesse McCartney and Jordin Sparks have announced that they will co-headline a North American summer tour beginning on August 5 on the West Coast.

While Jesse McCartney has named his album Departure, perhaps what he is experiencing is an arrival into new territory. In fact, during the making of this album, McCartney co-penned (with One Republic's Ryan Tedder) "Bleeding Love" for Leona Lewis, which has become a #1 single worldwide. Several more of his compositions are lining up for release on other artist's upcoming CDs. At sixteen, Jesse launched his solo career, creating songs for his first record while performing on dozens of soundtracks. Released in 2004, Jesse's debut album Beautiful Soul sold over 1.5 million copies, while the first single of the same name burned up the U.S. charts while topping the charts in Australia, Italy, the Phillippines and Taiwan, making "Jesse Mac" a household name in the teen world. Jesse performed to sold out crowds in Europe in 2005. Jesse reflects, "Departure represents a new start for me, a new sound and this is a part of me the fans haven't been exposed to yet! This music really is my passion and I'm ready to get out there and share it!"

At an age when most teens are looking forward to a carefree summer break, Jordin Sparks at 17, graced the stage as the youngest American Idol winner and spent the summer of 2007 crafting her eponymous self-titled debut album. Honing all the confidence, class and breathtaking range of emotion that put her at the epicenter of the entertainment world for most of last year, Jordin poured everything into her album currently out on 19 Recordings/Jive Records. The album spawned two top 10 hits: "Tattoo" and "No Air", her duet with pop star Chris Brown. Both singles were certified platinum! "Overnight success" is overwhelming to anyone at any age' but Jordin Sparks is taking it all in stride and shining brightly with every step. Her biggest challenge last year was recording her album, but her steady foundation, awe-inspiring talents and unlimited enthusiasm, helped her become a success.
