Longmont Museum & Cultural Center
Longmont,
CO
In celebration of the centennial of Longmont Power & Communications (LPC), Longmont’s own electric utility, the Longmont Museum presents a hands-on exhibit uncovering the real story of electricity. You and your family can fire up muscle-powered generators, see electricity in action, experiment with magnets, try on the protective clothing worn by LPC employees, and balance electric “loads” on a giant scale.
