Blues merged with Gypsy Jazz Exotica, sprinkled with a hint of Rockabilly. Florence Joelle, the songstress with a style all her own and a subconscious colonised by vintage American tunes, sings of things that go bump in the night. While she and her most worthy henchmen (Huck Whitney, Chris Campion, Arthur Lager), draw inspiration from the past, they carve out a sound that sits perfectly in the present and carries en route forwards.
