Workshop Outline:
This hands on half day workshop will assist creative SME’s with writing winning press releases. Insight into want the media is looking for, including who to target and when.
What you will Learn:
An understanding of how to incorporate your USP and key… Show more messaging in to a press release
An understanding of what the media wants and who to target and when
A draft press release template for future use
Tips on how to get your brand noticed
An understanding of how to represent your business online and an overview of how social media can help to reach potential customers
What to bring : If available, any press releases you may have written in the past
*The Creative Hub is subsidised to those who meet the following criteria:
Small to medium sized creative product businesses in Fashion, Jewellery, Textiles, Accessories, Soft furnishings and Homeware . Retailers need not apply.
Business must be a registered company or sole trader.
Business must employ less than 250 employees and trade from London.
You will need to provide the following Information:
Completed SME registration form
Sole Traders only: An original HMRC document which shows your UTR number (usually a 10 digit number) name and address. Photos are not accepted. If your HMRC document shows a different address you will also need to supply one of the following: Invoices, delivery notes, business bank account statements or utility bill addressed to the business . These will need to be no older than six months and show your business name and new address.
