Best of British Festival Music at St Martin's and Cafe in the Crypt host a season of events celebrating everything British in music and food. Best of British Festival (June - August 2008) features a selection of London and the United Kingdom's brightest musical talent including the Orpheus Choir, Nonsuch Singers with Dame Emma Kirkby, the London Musical Arts Orchestra, London Octave, Chamber Ensemble of London, the English Chamber Choir, Belmont Ensemble of London, New London Soloists Orchestra and St Martin’s Director of Music Nicholas Danks in recital. Concerts are complimented by a delicious meal in the Cafe's ambience where a £9 voucher available from the Box Office entitles the bearer to a selection from the all-British, specialty menus and a glass of excellent house wine. Programme The Chamber Ensemble of London was formed in 1997, by prize-winning violin soloist Peter Fisher , from the cream of the profession. Members share a love and enthusiasm for their art which has not failed to impress. The programmes offer great variety ranging from classics to neglected masterpieces.
