What used to be a great place to see a movie has gone downhill. We took our 2 small children to see a movie this afternoon and had one of the worst theater experiences. Only 1 cash register was working, only 1 person was selling tickets and working concession - and he was in no hurry to do anything. No one was taking tickets. No one told us until after we bought our tickets and walked to our movie that the heater in our theater was not working. It was 29 degrees outside! It wasn't much warmer in the theater. We all had to sit bundled up under our heavy coats through the whole movie. My nose was like ice. The movie itself had black lines running up and down on the whole screen through the whole movie too. There was at least one other theater that didn't have heat either that we saw. People in another movie had a blurry screen but no one seemed to be fixing it. One or two other workers darted in and out of office doors but no one was helping the guy out front or informing/apologizing to customers about the other issues. We paid $24 for a miserable matinee that was supposed to be a fun outing with the kids. We also noticed that the signage in several places looked like it had been printed off a computer and cut out and pasted above the different theaters. At least the restrooms and theater itself was clean. But that was the only redeeming thing. We've always loved this location, but unless something changes, we won't be back.
