Historic Tour at Hearthside House Museum

Hearthside House Museum opens for the 2013 season with a one-hour guided house tour provided by adult and youth interpreters in period costume. This 200-year old home is filled with interesting antiques and artifacts, including original looms and spinning wheels used by the family there a century ago. Watch demonstrations in the Colonial kitchen while enjoying light refreshments and learn the history of the area and of the families who lived in this country mansion. Last tour given at 3 p.m.
