Every winter Rhode Island attracts a wide range of rarities including Black-tailed and Black-headed Gulls, Barnacle and Pink-footed Geese, Eurasian Widgeons, Gyrfalcon, Tufted Duck plus semi-uncommon species like Barrow's Goldeneye and Canvasbacks. This trip will be designed to pick up as many of the known rarities in one day and, by day's end, we will have close to 20 species of ducks and a good variety of wintering passerines.
