Harnett County Reads

As part of the Paul Green Festival, the Harnett County Library encourages everyone to read "This Body the Earth" during February and March. Paul Green, a native of Lillington, was a Pulitzer Prize winning author and playwright. Called "one of the great tragic stories of the Old South" the book is about a farmer who is determined to better himself during the hard times of Reconstruction. The library has copies of the book available for a small donation. The book will be discussed on March 31.
