On Saturday the chorus departs from its classical repertoire to present popular songs of these United States, including a luscious arrangement of “Georgia On My Mind”, Randy Newman’s “Louisiana 1927”, “Oklahoma”, and many others by Bernstein, Foster, Gershwin, Rodgers and Hammerstein, and Kurt Weill. Music Director Adam Grossmann has uncovered and added little-known “gems” to the mix, and members of the chorus will shine in solos and small groups. Join the chorus for an evening of pure fun!
